It started as a dream, but quickly became reality when we decided it was a GREAT market to sell but NOT a great market to buy. The real estate market was HOT, so we put our home on the market and sold it in less than 3 days.
Living in an RV had been a bucket-list item for us, but NEVER did we think it would be realized so soon! When our home sold, we began the search for our perfect little tiny home.
Little did we know…
We searched… and we searched… and we searched. Do you have any idea how many RVs there are out there? We looked at over 30 in just a weekend (more to come on that subject in another post). We learned so much about what we wanted, what we didn’t, and how much some dealers are willing to do to sell you a piece of crap.
In the end, we found NEARLY exactly what we wanted at the price we felt comfortable spending. We had our tiny home and were ready to find a place to park it.
But then something else happened.
As if selling our home in three days and searching (and searching) for a tiny home wasn’t enough, I received an amazing job offer that would bring us closer to my parents. Since my Mama struggles with early dementia, we saw the alignment of all this insanity as God’s way of providing a path for us to help my Daddy care for her.
So here we are.
We are ready to jump into this crazy life head-on, and we invite you to join us. If you’re looking for soft, sweet, and sugar-coated stories, this may not be the spot for you. If you’re looking for raw, honest, and authentic adventures, we may be more your style.
Our life has been anything but boring from the moment we met. Why should our Tiny House life be any different? Welcome to our Walker Tiny House of Insanity Adventures. We hope you enjoy the view.
